Instructions for creating a web conference

To create a web conference, you must first register with the DFN conference service.

You can then create conferences according to the following instructions and use the services listed on the DFN website. Please also note the information listed there, such as the restriction of the maximum number of participants per conference to 23 users.

If you are planning a lecture or other event with more than 23 participants, please use the DFN's Adobe Connect service. Information and instructions can also be found on the DFN website.

1. after you have logged in, an overview page with meetings that have already been created is displayed. To create a new web conference, click on "New meeting room".

2. in the next window, you must first define a name for the meeting room. You can also optionally select various points:

• An optional description of the meeting room
• Who can access the conference and whether a password should be used
• The layout that the participants will see
• Features of the meeting room
