General information
The computer workstations (terminal clients) are located in building 34 (RHRZ) in rooms 251 and 253.
You need a valid RPTU account to use the computers.
You can log on to the desktop of the terminal clients under Linux, Unix or Windows, depending on the desired application.

Notes on registration under Windows
- Every user who has an RPTU account has a "My Documents" folder on the RHRZ file servers. Regardless of which terminal or PC you log on to, you can work with this folder as usual under Windows. Up to 500 MB of data can be stored in this folder. The user's home directory is mounted as a network drive under the drive letter (H:).
- The tmpbig folder serves as a temporary cache for larger files that can no longer be stored in the user profile for space reasons. It is automatically mounted as a network drive with the drive letter (T:) when logging on to Windows. You can create your own folders on this drive and, if necessary, allow other users to access the folder.
