Office 365 message "Account could not be verified..."

If the following message appears when working on the terminal server

"ACCOUNT COULD NOT BE VERIFIED. We are having problems verifying your Microsoft 365 account on this computer. Most features will be disabled."

please click on the message and sign in with your Office 365 credentials. You must then restart Office 365.
