T3 Tips and tricks: Moving English content in the grid element

It's great that we can finally use drag & drop in Typo3. Unfortunately, English content elements in grid elements are somewhat resistant to this. Good that there is still a way to move the elements.

Let's assume that you have moved content elements in the page module/column view using drag&drop. Now you will notice that the matching English content elements have only been "moved" if they are outside of grid elements. Annoying.

To place these content elements successfully anyway, open the properties of the content element and go to the "Grid elements" tab. There you can select the grid container and the correct column for your element.
