Campus Landau | Conversion of home drives to new RPTU infrastructure on 20.3.2023

Dear employees, dear students at the Landau campus,

We would like to inform you that an important changeover to our new infrastructure will take place on Monday, March 20, 2023. As part of the changeover, the home drives of all users at the Landau campus will be migrated to the new RPTU infrastructure. The affected drives will be unavailable for approximately one day.

The path "\\sambaserver.uni-landau.de\home\<uni-landau-kennung>" will no longer be available to you from 20.3.2023.

Your new path for your personal network drive is as follows

\\files.rptu.de\dfs\users\<rptu-accountname-beginning-letter>\<rptu-accountname>

Example:

RPTU account: mus77ter

\\files.rptu.de\dfs\users\m\mus77ter

Use your RPTU account name <rptu-accountname>@rptu.de with the corresponding RPTU password as the user name.

If you have not yet collected your account, please do so immediately. You can activate your RPTU account at https://accounts.rptu.de/landau_login.

Outside the university network, you still need an active VPN connection to access your files!

Where is my data?

After you have mounted your new home drive, you will find your data from the old home drive of the University of Landau in a subfolder LD-Home.
