Viruses by e-mail - please note & first measures
E-mails are currently being sent to TUK users with an attachment that downloads a virus . The emails contain texts that have already been sent as genuine emails within TUK and therefore appear extremely authentic. So far, the attachment is a Word file, but other formats are also possible.
If you receive a suspicious e-mail with an attachment, please forward it to the following address: antivirus(at)rhrk.uni-kl.de You can delete the text and subject of the e-mail if you wish. What is relevant for us is the supposed sender and the attachment to the e-mail.
Under no circumstances should you click on "Activate content".
We will contact you if it is a compromised e-mail.
