Rangee - Connections

Individual configuration of screen, keyboard, mouse and audio

You can find out where you can make the following advanced settings and how to ensure that they are retained permanently under Rangee - Advanced settings.

The configuration options for SmartCard readers and webcams can be found under Peripherals.

Screen

Different settings are offered here depending on the connected monitors.

If only the order of the monitors (right - left) is reversed, do not change the settings here. This problem can be solved more easily by swapping the cables on the Rangee PC or by swapping the monitor location.

Keyboard

Here you can primarily change the keyboard layout.

For example, if you are using a keyboard with an English layout ("Z" key is located on the keyboard on the left in the bottom row of letters), select "English" from the top drop-down menu.

Mouse

You can access the button assignment settings in the mouse configuration via the "Mouse button assignment" tab in the top menu bar.

Are you left-handed? Then simply select "Left-handed mouse" as the mouse button assignment profile.

Of course, you can also select a completely user-defined button assignment.

Audio

All connected audio devices are displayed here.

Your default audio device is marked with a yellow *.

To use a device other than the default, click on the "Configure" button next to the desired device.

Here you can use the "Set standard output" and/or "Set standard input" options to select whether the respective device is used as the standard output and/or input.

If you configure one device as the standard output and another as the standard input, both devices are marked with * in the overview.
