Rangee - Periphery

Click on the "Test" button on the right to display the current image of your webcam in a live view window.

The camera can be set here.

These setting options depend very much on the webcam used.

You can check the effects of the selected settings directly, as the changes are displayed directly in the Liveview window after clicking on "Apply"(see Testing the webcam).

Simply try out which settings work best for you and the camera you are using.

If your webcam does not support the respective function, it is possible that individual settings, e.g. zoom, have no effect.

If you would like to use a virtual background in video conferences, you can store it here.

This function is currently still experimental and does not work in Jitsi, for example. However, most web conferencing services (including Jitsi) provide their own background function.

Accept your selection and exit the virtual webcam settings.

Back in the overview, the activated virtual webcam is displayed as "RangeeOS Virtual Webcam".

To test the background, click on the "Test" button to the right of the virtual webcam to see the Liveview window with the current image from your camera.

In the open Liveview window, you can open the Liveview settings using the cogwheel at the top next to "Take a photo". You can display the virtual webcam or the normal webcam without a background by selecting the corresponding device.
