General information on the conference services available at RPTU (in particular Jitsi, Zoom, DFNconf, Skype for Business) can be found on the Conference Services page.
To achieve good quality for video conferences, use the local Chromium browser to participate in web conferences.
You can access the website of the respective video conferencing service directly via the Rangee start menu. Click on the Rangee logo in the bottom left corner and select "Chromium browser" and e.g. "OpenOLAT".
If you have started a FreeRDP session, for example to work on the terminal server, make sure that you do not open the browser in the FreeRDP session, but via the Rangee start menu.
If you do not see the Rangee logo in the bottom left corner, first switch off the full screen mode with the key combination <Ctrl><Alt><Enter >. (see General operation - Switching full screen mode)
Follow the invitation link
You will find a link in the body of the e-mail that you can use to take part in the web conference.
