Changes to printing for employees from June 2026

Hello,

This information is aimed at RPTU employees who use the printing services at RHRZ.
Students are not affected by the following changes.

 

From June 1, 2026, the general conditions for printing at the RHRZ will change:

RPTU will no longer provide a points quota for employees from this date.
Existing points can still be used until August 31, 2026.

The use of multifunctional devices in the follow-me system (printing, copying and scanning) remains possible without change.

New from June 1, 2026:

  • The points quota will only be credited to students, student associations and course participants.
  • A follow-me color device with stapling function is available at the RHRZ in Landau and in Kaiserslautern for larger business print jobs. Use is by prior arrangement; paper and toner are provided by the RHRZ if required.

The following remain unchanged:

  • the use of multifunctional devices in the Follow-me system
  • Large-format printing via cost center with collection from the RHRZ Druckausgabe in Kaiserslautern (via the Follow-me web portal)
  • Use of the services of the in-house print shop of the Media Center in Landau or Department 5.6 Photo Repro Printing (university print shop) in Kaiserslautern
