How this website works.
This is what you can do on the website.

The start page

Picture with name and button

On the start page, under the header, there is a picture with the words "IT services for RPTU" and the name of the RHRZ.
It is intended as a welcome.

Below it is a black button with a traffic light.
These are three circles in red, yellow and green.
Click on the button.
A new page then opens.
On the page, all areas with problems are yellow or red.
Areas without problems are green.
Click on the name "Regionales Rechenzentrum Kaisereslautern-Landau" under the logo.
This will take you back to the start page.

With one click

A list of links appears below the image.
Everything that people often need is linked.
Click on a link.
You will be taken directly to the website of the area.

Quick access

Next comes a pink box with the name Quick access.
The quick access leads to pages for very specific people.
Click on "I belong to the ..." and select the group of people to which you belong.
Then click on "To your guide".
A new page with information only for this group of people opens.

News and main topics

Below the pink box there is a section with current news.
There you will see, for example

  • When maintenance work is planned
  • If there are disruptions
  • When opening hours change
  • Or when new offers are available

This information will help you not to miss anything.
They are listed in a white box.
The date is also included.

The main topics section links to areas that are of particular interest to the RHRZ.

In the IT security and data protection section, there are links to the latest news.

Our most requested services

This section contains links to the services that are most frequently requested by people.
For each service, there is an image with a text underneath and the link "Read more".
Click on "Read more".
A new page opens with this service.

Below it is a button with "All services".
Click on the button.
A new page opens.
All RHRZ services are organized by topic on this page.

Support online and on campus

This section contains links to pages that provide help. These are for example

  • Frequently asked questions
  • Ask a question
  • Instructions

The header line

The header is the upper part of a web page.
The header contains important information.
The header is on every sub-page.
The header always looks the same.
This is where you will find this information and settings:

  • the logo at RPTU
  • the search
  • the menu
  • the languages

If you scroll down, the header remains at the top.
The header then turns black.
You will then see an additional area above the header.
There are links there.
The links show:
Which large organization this page belongs to.

The logo at RPTU

At the top left is the logo
of the RPTU
The logo is at this point on every sub-page.
Click on the logo.
This will always take you to the start page of the RPTU.

Below the logo of the RPTU is the name of a part of the RPTU.
The name is a link.
Click on the name.
This will always take you to the start page of the part of the RPTU.

The menu

The menu is a button on the website.
The button looks like three lines one below the other: ☰
It is at the top right of the page.

If you click on the button,
a list opens.
The list covers the entire page.
The background is black.

The list contains all the areas you can find on the website.

  • Support
  • About us

Click on an area.
A new page will open.
There you will find a lot of information on the topic.

Don't want any information?
You can close the menu again.
Click on the green X at the top.

The footer

The footer is displayed on all pages of the RHRZ.

The footer contains the addresses of the RZ Service Center in Kaiserslautern and Landau.
The RZ Service Centers are places where you can get help.

They are also listed there:

  • Telephone numbers
  • e-mail address
  • Times when you can get help

Below this are lists of links to the most important pages.
