Account feedback

The RHRZ regularly checks all RPTU accounts.

In order to ensure the accuracy of all available data and to extend expiring accounts if necessary, the cooperation of professors, executive directors, department heads and individuals with a power of attorney for account approval is required.

You can make account and deadline changes all year round via the RPTU account management.

Below you will learn how to check the existing data of the accounts assigned to you, adjust it if necessary and finally confirm the correctness of the data recorded.

New accounts for employees and partners can also be applied for via the RPTU account management. Please read the instructions for the account application.

Account management

Log in to the RPTU account management at https://accounts.rptu.de/. Login with your RPTU account name and the corresponding password.


Check accounts

Select the "Account list" tab.

 

You will see a list of the RPTU accounts you need to check.

For each account, check whether the position and limitation are still current and correct.

Filter and search

If you are looking for a specific account in the account list, you can filter the display to personal or other accounts or search by free text. The free text search searches all columns.


Edit data

You can make changes to the data of an account using the green button with the pencil on the far right in the row of the relevant account.

Do not forget to confirm the correctness of all data including the changes made in the last step!

Position

If something has changed in the status of employees, please adjust the corresponding entries via "Edit account type".

Limitation

The duration of an account can either be limited by a fixed end date (time limited) or linked to the end of the owner's employment contract (contractual).
Once the time limit or contract end date has been reached, the account is automatically blocked and then deleted.

  • Time limited ("Frist")
    A fixed date determines the time limit of the account. This is usually the expected end of the employment / cooperation. The time limit can either be extended by one year or set to a specific date.
     
  • Contractual ("Vertrag")
    If the person is in an employment or civil servant relationship with RPTU (no institutes, no grants, etc.), you can base the account time limit on the contract. The time limit will then automatically adjust to the end of the contract term, even if the contract term changes in the future. It is only possible to switch to a contractual time limit if you have a valid employment contract.
     

For accounts with a fixed end date, you can directly extend the term by one year by clicking on "Extend (1 year)".

For all other changes to the limitation select "Edit manually".

Use the tabs to select the appropriate limitation type and enter a new time limit if necessary. Finally, save the new limitation data using the green button "Save new time limit" or "Set limit according to contract".

Delete

If an account is no longer needed, the deletion procedure can be initiated via "Delete". The account holder will be notified by email of the upcoming blocking (after 2 weeks) and deletion (after a further 4 weeks).


Enter comments and confirm correctness

You have the option of providing us with further feedback information. Please enter this in the field at the bottom of the list.

Then complete the verification of all accounts and positions by selecting the "Korrektheit bestätigen" ("Confirm correctness") button at the bottom right.

Wait for confirmation

If the green field with the message "The correctness of the account list was last confirmed on DD.MM.YYYY." appears, your account feedback has been successfully completed.

You can now log out of account management via the "Logout" menu item.
