The telephony authorization "Worldwide telephony" is automatically assigned when a new application is made. If this is not desired, please use the comments field to indicate this. Lower authorizations are Bundeswet (Germany-wide) or Campus-wide (only accessible internally and not possible to make external calls).
If you only apply for access on a trial basis, you can test calling via a laptop/PC with a test number for 14 days. If you do not apply for setup after this period or inform us to set it up permanently, access will be switched off again after 14 days. Access to the UC will be retained, only telephoning via laptop/PC will be switched off. Otherwise the existing number will be reprogrammed. This will result in desk phones being switched off.
Different telephone systems are installed at both RPTU locations. For this reason, the UC service is initially only available in Kaiserslautern. We are working on a solution for Landau.
