Astah

Astah is a UML tool (Unified Modeling Language - UML for short), which is written in a graphical modeling language. modeling language for the specification, construction and documentation of software parts and other systems.

 

Astah is an intuitive platform with engaging presentation tools that increase understanding and productivity using a variety of diagram types.

This software creates simple, accurate illustrations of your own projects, making the complexity of business processes understandable at a glance.

 

Astah extends UML 2.x with other useful diagrams for areas that UML does not cover, such as mind maps, ERM, flowcharts, CRUD, data flow diagrams, requirement tables and requirement diagrams.

 

Astah is platform-independent and can be used on Windows, Mac and Linux.

 

We currently have a "Faculty Site License", exclusively for academic use, with a term of one year from 12.04. of each maintenance period.

If the license terms are extended, you may have to update your license data.

Who is authorized to use the Astah software?

  • The RHRZ provides students of the TU with Astah free of charge as a single user license for installation on their end device.
  • For employees of the TU, the RHRZ also provides Astah free of charge as a single-user license for installation on your end device.

- For licensing reasons,other persons and institutions may not use this software provided by us. In this case, please contact your software supplier directly.

The RHRZ does not offer content-related support.

Everyone who uses the software provided by us is personally responsible for ensuring that the software is only used in accordance with the scope specified in the license conditions. Please read these carefully.

Please note in particular that this software may only be used for non-commercial educational and research purposes. The software and all necessary licensing information can be found in the service portal. After installing the software, your computer must be enabled for access through the firewall.
