Alternatively, you can also access the printers of the PC pool in Landau via the printer queue "LD-PC-Pool-Printer". You can find out how to set up the printer queues for the RHRZ printers on your own computer in the instructions on "Setting up printers"(Windows, macOS, Linux).
The login and other functions of the web portal are explained in the"Druckausgabe web portal" instructions.
Prerequisites
- You need an RPTU account to use the Druckausgabe printers and the web portal.
- There must be a connection to the university network(LAN, WLAN, VPN).
- The document to be printed must be in one of the supported file formats.
- The subsequent printout must be started on one of the devices in the PC pool at the RHRZ in Landau.
Place print job
To upload documents for printing on the devices in the RHRZ PC pool in Landau, select the menu item "Online printing" in the Druckausgabe web portal.
Then select the green"Submit print job" button.
Select printer
The various virtual printers indicate the predefined print settings:
- print-da\A3-color-single-sided-LD-PC-pool
- print-da\A3-black-and-white-one-sided-LD-PC-Pool
- print-da\A4-color-both-sides-LD-PC-Pool
- print-da\A4-color-one-sided-LD-PC-Pool
- print-da\A4-black-and-white-both-sides-LD-PC-Pool
- print-da\A4-black-and-white-one-sided-LD-PC-Pool
Select a suitable printer and click on the green button"2. Print settings and account selection"
Upload
You can drag and drop the document to be printed onto the marked area around "Save files here". Or you can select the"Load from computer..." button to select the desired document.
The supported file formats are listed below the drag & drop area.
Then select the green button to"Upload and finish".
Log out and start printing
As soon as your print job is listed under "Jobs for release", you can startprinting on one of the devices in the PC pool.
Don't forget to log out of the web portal, especially if you are working on a computer that is used by several people.
To do this, click on your account name in the top right-hand corner and then select"Log out".
