Instructions for: SPSS

General information

Proof of authorization is required for the installation and use of the SPSS network license. This is done through a time-limited firewall activation on the license server and is linked to your IP address. If you change your location or building, a new activation is necessary.

SPSS Firewall Activation
Step 1: Login to the license server

Log in to the license server:
licserv-a.rz.rptu.de

with your RPTU account (e.g.: mus12ter - without @rptu.de).

Step 2: Activation of the license
  • Switch to the "Licenses" item on the left-hand side
  • Select the desired duration of the activation in the "SPSS" table

Successful activation:

Once the activation has been completed, you will see the message in the SPSS column:
"An activation has already been completed"

You can use the "(withdraw)" link to delete the existing activation and then restart the process.
