Services of the RHRZ to support research data management at RPTU

About research data management

Research data management (RDM) is an important prerequisite for scientific activity, is a requirement of many funding bodies and is part of good scientific practice.

RDM concerns all phases of the research process with the aim of making data available in accordance with the FAIR principles

  3. Interoperableand
  4. Reusable

to process, document and store the data.

Offer as part of the basic services

In addition to the University Library and the Research Department, the RHRZ also supports researchers at RPTU in managing their research data.

Online LaTeX editor, still known to many as ShareLaTeX

 

  • FDM archive iRODS

Open source data management software solution for long-term archiving of research data
Currently only test operation is possible.
(in cooperation with the Johannes Gutenberg University(JGU) Mainz)

 

Web-based software for planning, monitoring and documenting scientific experiments
(in collaboration with the Spin+X Collaborative Research Center and the OPTIMAS profile area)

Support with the publication of research data with DOI

In addition, the RHRZ, together with the University Library, supports the publication of research data with DOI.
